(and some smaller) of the world occurring now. In mid October of 2000 the
index page did not load and could have been down for updating. This site
is a great teaching tool when it is working.

get current events information? This one has a new top news story every

Kids Click is a great site for easily getting to many, many current
events sites. It would be easy to assign kids to follow stories from several
sources, looking for differences using the Internet.

This site contains lists of heads of state and governments of all counties
and territories going back to 1700.
LightSpan Current Events Sources

This is a great page with ranked (see the apples) sources for specific
places across the globe. This is a must see site if you want to do anything
with global current events!
