About the AP Outline

The outline is intended to be a "jumping off" place to other support pages, and a return point from those support pages. There are three outline web pages, and each page contains several chapters of the outline. Move directly to another part of the outline on a different page by clicking on the orange arrows:

Underlined text or buttons also will take the viewer to pages of different  support. Click on blue, underlined text to go to the "Narration" sections. There you will find explanatory remarks. Return to the outline page at any time by clicking on your "Back" button on your browser, or by clicking on the button labeled "AP Outline". That button looks like this: .

Navigate from one of the main parts of this site to another of the main parts by clicking on one of the blue, labeled buttons (the line of buttons below are not active here, but are on the "real" pages):

When a button is missing from the list, it indicates you are on that page.

About Internet Web Sites Support

Some sites on the Internet provide quality information related to the chapters and skills taught in an AP Human Geography class. Each section of the AP outline contains a button which is labeled "Web Sites" and looks like this:  Click on that button to link to a page with a list of annotated web sites corellated to that section of the outline. The sites have been reviewed by geographers and chosen for their usefulness to AP teachers and students. After reading the annotation, and deciding to go to that site, click once on the underlined words (site title). Return to the Internet Web Sites support page for that section by clicking on the "Back" button on your browser or the AP Outline button.

We are always looking for better sites for specific parts of the outline, so feel free to email us your best sites with some annotation and the part of the outline it supports.
